I’ve noticed that when my mind begins to start filling unnecessary thoughts, I continue on a downward cycle of thinking more and more negative thoughts. For a while I didn’t really know what to do about it, but I’ve learned how to stop myself from over thinking.
After much practice though, I’ve been following this technique where I just stop for a second, clear my mind completely, and just not think for a bit. Then I start over with a clean slate and start paying attention to the positive things in life…everything starts feeling so much better again, and I think more and more positive thoughts.
Seeing things from a bright light doesn’t just make your mood better temporarily. It can remove so much unwanted mental drama you create for yourself, and help you to create a better life for yourself. You’ll have more energy to think of things that will help you be more productive.
